From a single truck, Equipment Experts has blossomed into a booming repair business.

Equipment Experts began when Greg Conner built a mobile repair truck in his driveway, but don’t let its humble beginnings fool you. This Tacoma, Washington-based facility netted nearly $3 million in 2016, beating the previous year’s revenue figure by 40 percent. Co-owned with his wife Stacy, Equipment Experts boasts more than 25 staff members and aims to continue 2016’s tremendous growth.
Of course, reaching the Conners’ level of success is no easy feat. Greg cites recruiting the right employees and putting the proper policies in place to increase overall efficiency as two of the biggest challenges he and his team have overcome since the operation’s 2005 debut. “You can’t be cookie cutter,” he says. “Everybody is different.”
